What is enhanced Internet?

Enhanced Internet service is optimized for video, meaning that video traffic going to and from a location will be given priority. So, when a site begins to max out their available bandwidth, the video traffic will be allowed to move along as planned and all other traffic is slowed to permit this.

Which type of connection is best for my office?

T-1 lines are larger, dedicated lines in which download and upload speeds are symmetrical. This service is business-class, suitable for larger offices and there are no distance limitations.

SDSL lines are also suitable for businesses, but would best serve the needs of a small to medium sized office. Download and upload speeds are symmetrical.

ADSL lines are appropriate for small offices. Download speeds are faster than upload speeds.

All prices listed above are based on Covad’s area availability and do not apply for alternate Internet service options (such as a T1 provided by our partnership with AT&T).
