With the introduction of Courtroom Connect’s revolutionary new product, Virtual Law Viewer™, trial teams can now engage participants in trial that are not physically present for proceedings. In a recent multi-million dollar Bay area trial, the defense team at a top law firm utilized Courtroom Connect’s Trial Connect™ and Virtual Law Viewer™ services to include attorneys from offices in Cleveland, Washington, DC and San Jose in court proceedings. Attorneys in these locations were able to seamlessly watch video and hear audio of witness testimony and cross-examination, while simultaneously viewing the evidence presented and the real-time transcript. Remote participants were then able to provide advice and commentary via Email and Instant Messaging to the trial team allowing for important communication and consultation that would have been difficult otherwise. All of this information was presented via a secure Internet connection viewable only by authorized users.
