COURTROOM CONNECT EXPANDS ITS OFFERINGS TO INCLUDE NEW SERVICE, "TRIAL CONNECT™"

NOW LAW FIRMS CAN ARRANGE FOR HIGH-SPEED INTERNET ACCESS, PRINTING, AND REMOTE REAL-TIME TRANSCRIPT SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUAL TRIALS AT COURTHOUSES ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES

June 5, 2003 — Courtroom Connect, the leading provider of high-speed Internet access, printing, and remote real-time transcript services in courthouses throughout the country, has made it even easier for members of the courthouse community to get Internet access during trial. With the introduction of their revolutionary new service, Trial Connect™, trial teams now have access to these services in any courtroom in the United States—no matter where they litigate. Law firms preparing for trial anywhere in the United States can contact Courtroom Connect prior to their trial date to set up high-speed Internet services for any courtroom in the country. If Courtroom Connect services are not permanently available in the trial venue, the company will arrange with Court officials to install a wireless network for the duration of the trial. With permission from the Court, litigants will now have access to the same high-speed Internet, printing, and remote transcript services currently available in Courtroom Connect-enabled courthouses in Delaware, California, and New York. Law firms have been very enthusiastic about the introduction of Trial Connect™.

In a recent Eastern District of New York trial, the litigation teams for the parties involved recognized the value of accessing the Internet from within the courtroom. The law firms in the litigation agreed that contracting with Courtroom Connect was the ideal way to meet their Internet service needs in trial, such as sending and receiving email, conducting online legal research, and printing out documents from within the courtroom.

Darrell Cooper, Manager of Legal Support Services at Clifford Chance commented, "Internet access in the courtroom is an invaluable service. We were fortunate to find a company like Courtroom Connect, capable of providing the wireless connection on-demand and fully supporting the services during the trial. We would happily work with them again."

"We are seeing a growing demand for Internet services in courthouses," explained Louis Goldberg, President of Courtroom Connect. "However, many law firms tell us they have no efficient way to install the cabling and access points necessary for Wi-Fi access in Court. Nor do they have the bandwidth to support their litigation teams for the duration of trial. Our customers rely on us to provide secure, reliable Internet services, fully supported by Courtroom Connect, so they can focus on the legal needs of their clients. And now, with the introduction of Trial Connect™, Courtroom Connect is available to lawyers throughout the country, no matter where they litigate."
