COURTROOM CONNECT AND STENOGRAPH PARTNER
ON NEW TEXT STREAMING SERVICES

The Two Companies Announce Their Partnership to Provide Text Streaming
and other Technology to the Legal Industry

NEW YORK, July 18, 2005 - Courtroom Connect, the leading provider of advanced communication solutions for litigation proceedings including depositions, mock trials, war rooms and trials throughout the United States and Stenograph, the leading supplier of productivity tools to the court reporting profession, announced today a strategic partnership to provide streaming technology solutions to the court reporting and legal communities.

The first product to benefit from the union of technology solutions from the two companies is Remote Counsel, a litigation support application allowing for remote participation in legal proceedings via the Internet. With Remote Counsel, attorneys can minimally access and follow the realtime transcript or can choose to include advanced audio/video streaming and chat functionality to complement the text.  The attorney simply has to log into a web page with a secure password to view the content.  Remote Counsel is already being used in trials and depositions throughout the country.

“Our streaming text technology, CaseViewnet, formerly marketed in the legal community as Speche, allows a viewer to follow remotely without the hassle of paying for and installing software,” said Bob Nash, VP of Speche Communications within Stenograph.  “The application is web-based, so it simplifies the process for the attorney and effectively eliminates firewall concerns.  Additionally, CaseViewnet, the industry standard format, can also be read by some leading realtime litigation software applications so remote viewers have a choice of what method they prefer to view the text.”

Stenograph’s technology experience in the court reporting industry combined with Courtroom Connect’s expertise in advanced communications technology for the legal community puts the companies in a great position to develop innovative technology solutions for the legal industry.

“Stenograph is the leading provider of technology to the court reporting industry.  Courtroom Connect provides complete solutions to the litigation community that relies on advanced communications and extensive support.  Together we can provide the court reporting community innovative product offerings along with the premier support they need to deliver solutions to the demanding legal industry,” said Louis Goldberg, President of Courtroom Connect.
