Media Kit: Courtroom Connect at a Glance

Description

Courtroom Connect was founded in July 2001 to address the growing need for communications infrastructure within courthouses. We began by providing the first wireless, public Internet in a courthouse to the San Francisco Civil Court Facility in January, 2002. After expanding the reach of our network to include over 25 permanent connections in many states across the U.S., we began offering additional communications services to the entire legal industry. At present, the company maintains permanent Internet connections in over 40 courthouses and can set up temporary Internet service anywhere it is requested. In addition, our product offering has expanded to include valuable services for other members of the legal industry: attorneys, court reporters, bar associations, law schools and litigation support vendors.

Accolades

Per Lori Iwan, Partner at Iwan Cray,
"I recently used Courtroom Connect's services for wireless Internet and realtime access during a lengthy trial. The wireless connectivity was terrific and significantly enhanced the ability to prepare and present a complex commercial case. The ability to maintain access to the firm's network and email, and to provide client access to the trial testimony via the Internet on a realtime basis, enabled the team to keep the client informed and involved in key decision-making. I would definitely use wireless access provided by Courtroom Connect in future cases."

Lawyers, litigation support teams, judges, court reporters, and others involved in all types of litigation have praised the Courtroom Connect service.

According to Sheryl Traum of Carroll, Burdick & McDonough,
"Courtroom Connect's services were by far the best value of the many vendor services [we] used during the trial. I think every courtroom in the country should be equipped with Courtroom Connect."

Derek Palisoul of FTI Consulting said,
"It was indispensable for both my clients and my trial support team."

According to Ted Brooks of Litigation-Tech LLC,
"Having a wireless network made a major difference in a recent trial...The timing was perfect, and it could not have been accomplished any other way."

Stuart Jones, Senior Principal of Wright, Robinson, Osthimer, and Tatum said,
"I believe Courtroom Connect was an essential part of our trial team."
