David Feinberg, Chief Executive OfficerIn addition to being chief executive officer of Courtroom Connect, David Feinberg is a member of the company's board of directors and has been involved with the company since July 2001. As the CEO, David sets the strategic direction for the company and the senior management team. David also brings to the company 15 years experience in business development at the Feinberg Group, the foremost law firm in the nation specializing in the negotiated resolution of complex legal disputes.
Michael Breyer, President
Michael Breyer is the president, chairman and co-founder of Courtroom Connect. He is heavily involved in the Content Services business line and works closely with the senior management team to help set the strategic direction for the company overall. He previously worked with Goldman Sachs as an analyst in the Communication, Media, and Technology divisions. He also brings public policy experience that includes working on the "Reinventing Government" initiative as a White House intern in the Office of the Vice President. Michael holds expertise on wireless technology from his involvement with Carlin Ventures where he assessed opportunities in the wireless data industry and developed wireless strategies for portfolio companies.
Michael holds an MBA and a Public Management Program certificate from Stanford Business School and received a BA in Economics with distinction and with departmental honors from Stanford University.
Shelly Albaum, Esq., Chief Operating Officer
Shelly Albaum is Courtroom Connect's chief operating officer. He oversees the company, including the Content and Litigation Services business lines. Prior to joining Courtroom Connect, Shelly spent 14 years at Thomson West in senior manager roles in product development, strategy, and business development. He also served as VP and Publisher at Oxford University Press where he was instrumental in the growth of their U.S. Law Division.
Shelly earned his JD from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He was a member of the Minnesota Bar and is currently a member of the California Bar.
Louis Goldberg, Co-founder
Louis Goldberg co-founded Courtroom Connect in 2001. Louis advises the senior management team on strategic direction and leads the Courtroom Live regional program. Louis began his career with Boston Consulting Group and Princeton Economics Group, and later advised several high-tech ventures.
Louis has an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Economics from University of Virginia.
John Shin, Esq., Executive Director - Content Services
John Shin is the executive director of the Content Services business line, which captures and streams the content of live trials. John is responsible for the overall direction of this business line, as well as developing and fostering new customers and new markets, both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining Courtroom Connect, John was the director of business development for Public Internet Exchange (PIX).
John earned his JD with honors at Syracuse University Law School in 1992 and BS at the University of Maryland in 1989 in Government & Politics. John is a member of the Maryland Bar and the United States District Court. He is admitted to the 4th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals.
Michael Walker, Chief Technology Officer
Michael Walker is the chief technology officer and the senior network engineer for Courtroom Connect where he oversees all aspects of Courtroom Connect's technical infrastructure and is the architect of Courtroom Connect's networks and data center environments. He has been with Courtroom Connect for the past five years, and previously worked as a network and security consultant, building core network facilities for such clients as Washington Mutual, Janus, Sony, and Aramark.
Michael is a graduate of Framingham State College and has 15 years of experience in the networking field. He holds three professional-level Cisco certifications as well as numerous associate-level industry certifications and accreditations from vendors such as CheckPoint, Foundry and Network Associates.
Grover Mundell, President - Litigation Services
As the president of litigation services at Courtroom Connect, Grover Mundell is responsible for providing, audio, video, text, and connectivity to court reporters and litigants before trial. Prior to joining Courtroom Connect, Grover was a vice president of the Real Legal® division of LiveNote® where he managed development of Real Legal tools such as iBinder®, Binder®, and E-Transcript®. Grover also manages the Remote Counsel Network, a network of more than 300 court reporting firms who rent videoconferencing equipment in deposition suites to attorneys and others. Additionally, Grover oversees Courtroom Connect's Internet and video streaming services.
Grover holds a BS in Business Administration from West Texas A&M University, and has more than 20 years of legal industry experience.
Stanley Goldberg, Vice President of Operations
Stanley Goldberg serves as the vice president of operations. He joined the company in 2003 and was instrumental in the development of the operations department. Over the last five years, he has grown this area of the company and is now responsible for overseeing all operational processes for the entire company, including trial services management and courthouse infrastructure. Prior to taking on this role, Stanley managed the deployment of networking and AV products and operations for trials, depositions, jury research and other special events as the senior director of operations.
Stanley received a BS degree at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Bryan Danilovich, Vice President of Finance and Human Resources
Bryan Danilovich has been with Courtroom Connect since 2005 and was named Vice President, Finance and Human Resources in January 2008. Prior to that, Bryan headed up the product development team for the company. Before joining Courtroom Connect, Bryan defined, launched, and managed a diverse set of successful products and services at several early and mid-stage technology companies in both the U.S. and Asia, including Savi Technology (now a Lockheed Martin Company), Omnisky, and Narus.
Bryan received his Bachelors of Business Administration with honors from the University of Georgia.
Sumit Chatterjee, Managing Director - Content Services
Sumit Chatterjee serves as managing director for the Content Services business line at Courtroom Connect. Sumit is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of live trials which includes webcasting and recording video of trials and hearings. He joined Courtroom Connect in 2002, and has served in a number of senior management roles overseeing sales, operations, and business development functions. Most recently, he was responsible for the company's court expansion strategy establishing wireless IP networks in more than 60 state and federal courthouses. Prior to Courtroom Connect, Sumit was director of Global Strategic Alliances for Level 3 Communications, where he established relationships with leading broadband cable and satellite companies. Before Level 3, Sumit was a product marketing manager at Narus. Sumit's public sector experience includes working in the White House as a domestic policy aide in the Office of the Vice President (Al Gore), focusing on high technology issues.
Sumit received a BA in Political Science and History from The University of Arizona.
